Ordering and delivery


How to place an order?
Step 1. Select the product you wish to order, select the correct quantity and click on 'add to shopping cart'

Step 2. Click on 'shopping basket' to see what products you have selected. Here you can also change the quantities or remove products.

Step 3. Click on 'complete order' to continue placing your order.

Step 4. If you already have an account, log in at 'Log in with your Riverdale account' on the left. If you are a new customer, please use 'Is this your first time ordering from Riverdale?. Registration is not required.

Step 5. You will now see the screen with your details. Here you can enter your details or adjust them where necessary. Proceed to the next step.

Step 6. You will now see the screen with your order. Here you can choose a payment method and view the overview of your order. After this you agree to the terms and conditions and click on 'complete order'.


How do I receive the invoice and confirmation of my order?
All orders and payments are fully digital. You will receive both the confirmation of your order and the invoice by e-mail.


Where can I find the status of my order?

The moment your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail with a Track & Trace code. This allows you to see for yourself at any time what the status of your order is and where the package is located.


How quickly will I receive my order?

Orders will be delivered to your home within 1-3 business days. With the exception of our large furniture, such as sofas and dining tables. These are delivered by appointment.


Can I also order from abroad?
You can place an order via our webshop when you live in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. With the language switch at the top right you can view the webshop in Dutch, English and German.
If you live outside the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany, it is unfortunately not possible to place an order in the webshop. Click here to find a point of sale near you.


Can I change or cancel my order?
Online it is not possible to change or cancel your order once payment has been made. Contact customer service and ask for the possibilities.


How is it possible that a product disappears from my order?
A product is only reserved for you once the order has been completed. It is therefore possible that it was sold out when you wanted to checkout. If this is the case, you will receive a notification when you want to pay for your shopping cart. Riverdale obviously does everything to keep the stock up-to-date to prevent such situations.


Can I have my order delivered elsewhere?

Yes that is possible. During the ordering process you can enter a different delivery address in addition to the billing address. Your order will then be sent to this address. Unfortunately, it is not possible to have an order delivered to a PO Box address.


What are the shipping costs?

You can have your order delivered at home. For this we charge € 4.95 in shipping costs. For orders from €50, the shipping costs are free. Other shipping costs apply to furniture, you can find the shipping costs in your shopping cart. The shipping costs of the furniture depend on the size and weight of the furniture.


Will my order be delivered in one go?
We always try to have your order delivered in one go. For large orders, it is possible that your order will be delivered in a scattered manner.
